It is called an ellipse. The hemisphere is the half of the Earth north and south of the equator. We live in the north. Equator is half of the earth separates the north and south. Indirect Sunlight is when the sun heat earth less than 90 degrees and less hot. Winter in the North Hemisphere is when the axis face opposite of the earth.
